35th anniversary - Michigan Trip 10/08

After having been to Mac Island twice before, I knew it was something I wanted to share with my husband, so...what better time than to celebrate a milestone anniversary year like the 35th. The first big event was to stop by Ft. Custer, Kalamazoo County to see where Greg was born. After that we spent 6 full days exploring various museums and areas in the state of Michigan. We were picked up on the 7th of Oct and whisked away to Mackinaw Island where we enjoyed the unhurried life of horse and buggy, and step back in time (Somewhere in Time). Ü The food, the ambiance, the walking, the lakes, the biking, the shops, the old people (oh, did I mention there was a ton of them there?)... but we had a great time.
